Marketing Presentation

Teams of students will co-operate together to score higher than other groups in various task based presentations. Each class team will be introduced to a marketing dilemma for a fictional company.

 

Some of the scenarios include:

 

1) Producing a TV advertisement for a product and designing a new modern logo to replace an outdated logo.

2) Marketing new uses for a low sales growth product.

3) Designing improvements for an ineffective product.

4) Creating an English "marketing jingle" for a product.

 

Teams will be given a limited time to come up with ideas and complete the presentation.  Teamwork and creativity are essential.  Teams will learn how to create power point presentations while practicing their persuasive speaking skills to convince the judges that their team has produced the best results.

 

Teams will also have an opportunity to criticize each other’s ideas in a constructive way.
